    Command Window at Startup

This is the second day in a row when I have started up my PC and a black command window popped up with a blinking cursor. Yesterday I just closed it after some time but now that I'm touching it, it isn't going away on its own.

The title of the window is: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\LogonIndicator.lnk

How can I stop this window from appearing during startup?

The window finally disappeared after 10-15 minutes. Still not sure why it's appearing at startup...

    Method 1

    Simply go to this path:

    Code:
    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
And delete "LogonIndicator.lnk" or right-click it and check for some strings. If there are any, remove them.

    Method 2

Click the Start orb and type 'msconfig'. Under startup look for that.

    Method 3

Click the Start orb and type 'services.msc'. Look for it and if you find it, right-click to bring up options and stop it from there (startup type must be set to 'Disabled').
