    battery level window

IN the past, I was able to have the battery level display open continuously. In W7, I can't figure out how to do this.

I've found a gadget which displays battery, but it also displays other things that I'm not interested in having take up space.

Corazon, thanks but I should have specified that I want the meter to remain on my desktop (gadget) or in a window. I have my task bar set to auto disappear. This is a really minor efficiency, but one that I would like tohave if available
