That's odd! I get 7.9 across the board with my current setup. Admitedly I have my ram running at 2133mhz.

Your 580gtx is more powerful than my 6950 and mine scores 7.9 lol

GPU and M4 should be 7.9

Are the drives set as AHCI/RAID or IDE? Is your OS drive on the Sata III port?

CPU is normal, so too is the Ram.

All sata drives are in IDE mode. OS is in SATA 1 which is the 6Gbs sata connection. My step son has identical GPU it scores a 7.9

You are new, so you probably haven't seen the countless threads, but you are really only wasting your time by worry about what WEI says. Besides...why stop at 7.9???

no benchmarks are the way to gauge your system. 7.9 is just a bonus on top of good benchmarks results.

IDE+WEI has been a common bafflement regarding scores. Good to hear that's now sorted.

That leaves the GPU - are the drivers updated? Preferably from nvidias site.

Hmm. My 580 and same drivers at it's 772mhz stock it nets a 7.9

If it's a new build, have you got all the chipset drivers etc installed? No yellow triangles beside any devices in device manager?

Also, do you have the iGPU enabled at all? Installed the Virtu software?

Double check that it's actually using the 580 and not the iGPU (virtu-i mode) when running the test.

    ie:
