Hybrid sleep doesn't always occur after idle time setting
I have set sleep to occur after 5 mins of idle time. This works well to power down
after media center records programs. However, computer is on a network and
computer sometimes will not go into hybrid sleep mode when another computer
on the network is powered up. I have WOL enabled but set to wakeup only on
magic packet. I have file and printer sharing enabled, and suspect that the
network identification activity may be the culprit in preventing sleep mode.
However, this does not always happen with another computer running.
Anyone have any idea how I can discover what is causing this seemingly
intermittent problem or know which activity is at fault?
