Windows 7: What's your Reliability index score?

I have just sent a request to the supplier as Corsair have a lifetime warranty. Will wait for them to contact me about the return of the RAM kit.

On another note... Is it possible to run 4.4.4.12 ram along side 5.5.5.18 ? as I have other Corsair ram (2x1gig) that I have been using before I got this new RAM.

I am not a expert on Ram timmings, they may work together but at the slower speed of the lower timmings. or they may cause memory cashes, Trial & Error!

You probably could run on the 2 good sticks for a short while just to see how they do first. Then add the other a little later to test the combination

If you run the 4-4-4-12 modules at 5-5-5-18 timings, then you should be able to.

MissMuffitt, in your specs, you don't list your CPU make & speed ?

My two original and 1 of the new ones are all good.
Looks like I will be contacting Corsair about this faulty RAM stick... Wish me luck!

Thank you very much to all who helped me with this problem....
You are welcome and good luck with your RAM stick

Hi All
Well I've been lurking for a while since I got 7 ( Ex Vista user) a couple of weeks ago.
Thought I'd share the fun with the stability jobbie.
I think I've got the problem sussed. The latest nvidia graphics drivers kept crashing Explorer. Well I say I have it sussed, found the answer on these forums somewhere. Thank you whoever you are.

You look like you have had as many problems as I did to start with!(My problems were RAM)
Also, I can't get your picture to enlarge...

I'm glad that its sorted your end. Once 7 is stable I think it knocks buckets out of the other Windows systems even XP.
