Hot-swapping display profiles W7
To use for photography, I have a very accurate calibration of my display and equally accurate profile (i1Profiler). However, my white point is, quite properly, quite low for matching with my printer.
Sometimes, I prefer to load a different profile which is more suited to 'normal' work with MS Office etc.
I can swap profiles only by selecting them in Control Panel > Color Management, but the new profile only comes in when the machine is re-booted. However, when I re-profile, at the end of the profiling process, the software loads the new profile there and then - so dynamic loading of different profiles must be possible.
I am sure I am not the first to want to do this ?
Any help welcomed. I prefer actual responses drawn from experience rather than someone's best guess - but someone once gave their best guess and it turned out to be the solution!
