Windows 7: Fan is totally messing up my computer. :(

some one please help. im having big problems with my fan which is messing up my laptop. first of all i had a problem with it making alot of noise which is very annoying. but the computer worked fine. now im getting a message when i turn on the computer fan has a malfunction error (90b). and now i cant browse the net with multiple tabs it gets very laggy and i cant play any games fps is to low. this fan issue is making my computer extremely slow. once before when i hit the bottom the noise will stop for a second or 2 and continue. now hitting the bottom does nothing. i have a HP Pavilion dv6t-3100 CTO Entertainment Notebook PC

Sounds like you need a fan. Is your computer under warranty?

yea. but i cant afford to send it in and be without for a week. i have finals and homework coming up for the end of term college classes
