    Disk Check runs everytime i turn on computer?


    hello people i need little help every time i turn on my pc disk check runs how to fix that?
    i let the disk check run but when restartet disk check appear again.

    Hello androidal

    This may be a sign of hard drive failure, I would check your drive with the manufacturers diagnostic tool. However to stop this happening for now have a look at this - Check Disk - Reset

    Does the disk check actually run, does it report any errors. I would look for your manufacturers diagnostic tool to check the disk for errors also.

    Also try booting the Repair CD or DVD to run it from Command Line, this can stop the chkdsk loop - Disk Check OPTION 2

    You need to first boot from your recovery cd or installation disk and use the cmd prompt from there

    Have you tried typing N at the command prompt then pressing Enter to tell Windows not to run a disk check?
