Cpu ghost spikes

Okay so for a while now (maybe for as long as i've had it) my computer has some insane Cpu spikes in the task manager. I took my PC to a profesional and he told me it was unusual. When I brought the computer in it was cool. So we don't believe it to be a heating problem. All the %'s in the taks manager don't equal the total % were getting.

Like a game may take up 33% cpu and then some other smaller programs make up another 15%. And that'll be all the task manager shows. But the total cpu will read at 100%.

Are there any fixes to this problem?

Anyone who charges for repairs will always tell you what you've found is abnormal.

However you would need to provide much more detailed information for an accurate opinion

Okay after looking a at the above posted.
I saw that the system idle spikes around 70-90 cpu.

Is that correct? and if so why does it do that?

I hope these are not too small.
I got screenshots of the taskmanager.
Attached Files
File Type: docx cpu.docx (90.4 KB, 12 views)
File Type: docx cpu2.docx (92.8 KB, 5 views)

In order to check we need your system specs.

I notice in pix one 15 Chome processes totaling almost 1 gig. Thats the beginning of the problem.

IN the snips you have 97 processes. Thats way too many ( I currently have 51)

Your cpu is at 4% great

Your RAM is fine.

So what is the issue again??

Well I thought the cpu spikes were a problem in why my pc was starting to act sluggish.
Now i'm not to sure. Slow start-up. Sometimes chrome takes forever to open.

It might be an driver that needs updated but they always say up to date.

There is no reason for Chrome to be running 19 processes unless you have that many tabs open.

If you do, that is why you are slowing down (IMHO)
