Aero problems, choppy animations, Intel HD3000

Hi,

I've got a weird problem with my new Vaio laptop S series..

The Aero animations are a bit choppy, it's missing a few frames, nothing really dramatic but I'd rather have it smooth..

The thing is, when I change to windows basic, then back to Aero, the effects are smooth again, how is this possible? When I reboot I have to repeat this process again.

Can someone explain to me what happens when I switch to basic and then to Aero? How can I make this permanent so I don't need to repeat it again?

Thanks!

I've installed the latest drivers, I think I found the problem but I have no idea how to solve it,
whenever I restart the UxSms service, Aero works smooth again, how can I restart the service automatically?

I've tried using a startupscript
NET STOP UXSMS
NET START UXSMS

this works but.. isn't there another way? Is there a way to fix UxSms so it starts normal?
