| | Windows 7 Power Failure Sorry for the name, I couldn't think of a better one. I have been having a problem for about a month now of my computer not being able to go to sleep or even hibernate properly. I try to put it in sleep mode and it will go to sleep sometimes, but will usually turn on unresponsive with a black screen. If I try to put it in hibernation it will go to a black screen and sit there. I keep forgetting that this doing and I put it in my bag, and it dies on me. I can't keep losing what have open and need a solution ASAP...This is an HP Pavilion G6 laptop that is running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit with service pack 1. I have looked on Microsoft forums, and the people say that it was a problem that is solved with service pack 1, that is obviously not the case.  P.S. it does not bluescreen so there is no errors to show. |
