Random system lag when connected to certain network.

So I have multiple wireless networks at my home and when I connect to one of them, for some odd reason, the system lags. But then disconnecting or connecting to another network remedies this problem and the system no longer lags. I didn't find any answers for this so can anyone here perhaps shed some light on the situation?
