HELP - On every command windows stays busy for awhile??

I have 16gb of memory and it's a second generation i7 2600K computer. I ran dskchk /r and disabled windows search. I have a anti-virus/malware. I've cleaned the reg. I can't figure it out? The doughnut looking cursor just spins for at leat 30 seconds on everthing I do.
Thanks in advance!

My mind reading abilities are a tad slow today.
We truly need far more clues about your problems.

* Have you a System Restore Point PRIOR to the problem presenting that you could roll back to?

*How long have you had this problem for?

*Have you SP1 installed?

* What Anti Virus Program came preinstalled on your computer?
How did you get rid of it?

* Please list ALL the Security Programs currently used.

* Have you checked in Event Viewer?
Type eventvwr in search.
Go to the Windows Logs > Application / System > in the left hand column.
Note anything in red that relates to the last " freeze".
Please record the event ID,Source Code and Google for more information.

* IMHO.

Current accepted wisdom with Win 7 is to NOT use a cleaner.

If you ever think your Registry needs to be cleaned, repaired, boosted, tuned-up, cured, tweaked, fixed, or optimized it shouldn't.

In other words, injudicious use of "Registry cleaners" CAN & DOES cause problems.

* Run SFC Option 2.
You may need to run it 3 times.
Let us know the result at the end.

SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker
