Format the computer. Nowadays HP and Dell bring too much crap on their PCs. Oh, and don't get too shabby about the PC being new. Format it, and you'll really love your new machine
Here are some fuller steps to Clean up factory bloatware.
If this doesn't regain quick starts with instantaneous performance I would consider Clean Reinstalling Windows 7 to shrug off the factory bloatware and useless factory utilities which have better versions built into Win7.
I have tried most things. All bloatware is gone. Is a week old laptop
You can save a Win7 backup image externally, then boot the installer to clean reintalll Win7 following these steps to get a perfect clean reinstall of factory OEM: Reinstalling Windows 7
Make your factory Recovery disks first. If it's an HP you can keep the Recov Partition too which will still boot after clean reinstalling over C.

So if I create a system image recovery now then go to advanced settings and "use a system image you created earlier to restore your computer" will that now just reinstall the laptop to the way it is now
