    Hello Rasal,

From your log, the files below at the locations below are corrupted. However, normally these would be in your C:\Program Files folder instead of the C:\Program Files (x86) folder, even in 64-bit Windows 7.

Do you have them in your C:\Program Files folder? If so, then delete the ones below in the C:\Program Files (x86) folder.
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\DVD Maker\en-US\WMM2CLIP.dll.mui
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\DVD Maker\WMM2CLIP.dll
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\DVD Maker\Shared\Filters.xml
    • ----------------------------------------------------
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\windows sidebar\gadgets\MediaCenter.Gadget folder and all contents
    Hope this helps for now,
    Shawn

    Hello Shawn,
Thank you for suggesting me to delete the corrupt files. But before i read your message my system was dead, means not booting up. it hanged in start up repairs for many hours, so finally i formatted the drive and installed win 7 32 bit version. Actually i was facing problem from last whole month, i used to install win 7 64 bit and in two or three days whenever i used to ran an update or install some software or driver, it used to get hanged and i ended up doing installing fresh, each time finding some other new reason.
i hope for now that shifting to 32 bit version solves my current problam of reformatting in few days!!!
both the windows version were genuine copy.

    thanks... :)

    Hi,
Reinstallation doesnt help, i formatted and installed win 32 twice and win 64 once in last three days but if i run windows update or just install important drivers for graphics or touchpad, it works fine for once, but after i shut down and start again then, start up repair gets started and it keeps on running for hours but in vain.

    What should i do??

    Rasal,

You might use the free program SeaTools for Windows or DOS at the link below to test your HDD with to see if there may be an issue with it.
