Search Function Start Menu Broken

    What if I reversed the registry tweaks from the hacks above? (I don't know how to do that, so maybe if someone could reverse it and give it to me a in .reg file)

    Once you have used a registry do dad program it is almost impossible for us to undo things because we don't know for sure what has been changed, deleted, added or what ever to your registry. Other than a wipe and clean install I don't know any other fixes.

The problem.... Typing anything into the search box on the start menu or in windows explorer/control panel has no effect, no results are found. It doesnt say no result are found it just displays nothing. This extends to everything, searching for files as well as things like 'cmd' and 'regedit'....

Check screenshot for more details. Search function works just fine, for example, in Drive D or E.
