As this is a new Motherboard (I know from a different thread) you should have a manual or you could download that as well then you would find the info you require in there.
So look at the manual, in the download version you need to look at Chapter 3, 3.2.2 ASUS EZ Flash 2 utility. I have always found this easiest. Make sure you downloaded the latest.
Ps. Did you find the Realtek HD Manager? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self built OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200 2.5GHz (3.77GHz OC) Motherboard Asus P5Q-E Memory Corsair 4GB DDR2 (4x1GB CM2X1024-6400C4) Graphics Card Palit GeForce GTS 250 (1024MB) Sound Card On Board (ADI AD2000B 8ch HD) Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 32in LCD TV Screen Resolution 1360x768 Keyboard Logitech MX5000 Laser (Combo) Mouse Logitech MX5000 Laser (Combo) PSU 550W Antec Neo HE 550 Case Antec P180 Cooling Xigmatex Red Scorpion CPU Cooler. 3x120mm Fans Hard Drives 2 x 1TB Samsung 103SJ (Raid0)

You may update the ASUS Bios either using the ASUS Update Utility (Windows Environment) or booting the system in the DOS environment with the BIOS files copied to a pendrive.
Both the procedures are explained in detail in "Chapter 2 BIOS Information" in the manual.
Follow any one procedure and and carryout the update carefully as per the instructions contained therein.
Be aware that any interruption in the flashing process will render your motherboard useless.
If you do not have the manual download it from http://support.asus.com/download/dow...el=M5A88-M+EVO ( Select others in the dropdown box which will take you to the Manuals link among others) | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32 bit |

If you are not very confident that you understand the procedure for flashing the BIOS, I would recommend that you take it to a professional repair shop and let them do it for you. I have no idea of what they might charge now, but I did that once about 6 years ago, and it cost me $25. At the time, I felt that was money well spent, because I knew how easily things could go wrong. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number DIY OS W7x64 Pro, SuSe 12.1/** W7 x64 Pro, XP MCE CPU Phenom II 1090T w/Noctua NH-D14 /**4400+ X2 w/CM Hyper TX 3 Motherboard ASRock 890FX Deluxe 4/**A8N-SLI Memory 2 x 2GB Patriot PGS34g1600LLKA/**4x1GB Corsair VS Graphics Card EVGA GTX460 SC/**EVGA 8800GTS Sound Card Asus Xonar D2X/**Xonar D1 Monitor(s) Displays Acer X233H, Dell E152FPc /**LG M237-WD Screen Resolution 1920x1080 & 1024x768/**1980x1080 Keyboard Logitech Media USB/**Saitek Eclipse Mouse Cordless Trackman Wheel/**Ditto PSU CM RS600 w/ APC BX1000G/**Antec 500 TP w/ APC BX1000 Case HAF922/**Antec 1040IIB Cooling 3x200mm, 1x140 and 1x120mm/**5x80mm fans Hard Drives WDC 2TB, 1.5TB, 1TB, 500GB,Seagate 500GB , Maxtor 80GB /**500GB Seagate & WDC 1TB Black Internet Speed 3.3Mbps Other Info SB 560 5.1 w/ Sennheiser RS140/**Creative T20 speakers, Dvico FusionHDTV7 Gold RT, Cisco E3000, HP 5510V AIO, Linksys E3000, Belkin F5U237 hub and **F5D8055 adapter

If you don't know how to update your bios, then I recommend no trying as if you make a mistake. it is disaster.
And only from the manufacturer of your MB's site. Most have 2 or more ways to update the bios.
Bottom line if your not confident, don't try it.
