How to correct boot sector without repair disk

Here is my predicament: Have a netbook with Windows 7 Starter. It dualboots with Linux. My plan is to remove the Linux partition to make space on the hard disk. Obviously then the boot information, which is a GRUB, should be corrected. How can you edit this ahead of time, to allow a boot with a single entry? A netbook has no disk drive, so there is no repair disk available. Are there utilities like BCD easy or something like it? Thanks in advance for your tips.

You can create a bootable flash drive and use it to fix the MBR.

Looks like the easiest method is to use Universal USB Installer – Easy as 1 2 3
. Select Windows 7 from the drop down menu and your off.

Here is a link to all versions for download from Digital River: Download Windows 7 ISO (Official 32-bit and 64-bit Direct Download Links)

Download the one that matches what you have use the .iso to create a bootable flash drive 94GB or larger).
