Running pc in high performance a bad idea?

Is it a bad idea to run it in high performance all the time? I usually leave my pc on for the day then turn it off when im ready to go to bed

I run mine on high performance all the time, although I do put it into Sleep mode if I'm going to be away for more than a few minutes.

The only thing I've hurt so far is my wallet! :)

No it is not a bad idea to run system in high performance unless you are planning to save the batteries.

I prefer to run my computer in high performance, and have done it for years.
The only thing you hurt is your electric bill. I myself rarely turn off my computer. Maybe once a month for restarts. However i use mine for other task that need it to be running constantly

High performance is about electricity; wouldn't do any damage to your computer (I am talking about plugged in, not on batteries).
