    Unistall

    Hi Bud,

Yes I can remove these programs but some of them will have to go back on as I paid money for them! I'm happy to uninstall for the purposes of this test to see if it's causing me problems.....but I WILL be putting some of these programs on my system..... I'll re post information as required.

    Thanks

sarcasm is the lowest form of wit Karl, no need to come across so rude! I said I would be happy to remove these bits of software and see how it went, I'm grateful for your input, but you have a way about you in talking to me like I'm a naughty little boy.... We'll leave it there then BUDDY... I'm not some 16 year old boy, I'm a grown man with children...your IT Skills are very good, your people skills leave a lot to be desired..... Some of the software your asking me to remove I paid for....and my system was fine with this on it before....maybe less the Java

I'm marking this as solved as I feel like a naughty little boy! To all the other members who have given me your time and input I'm very grateful.... It's a shame as this group is by far the best I've ever come across on the net...the people on this group are great..

    Thanks again

There is a reason I posted what I did in post #27 regarding some of your software that has worked fine in the past. Optimization software, no matter how well it works for a time, will eventually break down any system and start causing problems if there is registry cleaning involved.

You have also been given a lot of other advice in this thread that you have not followed or have been snippy about toward us... As one of our Gurus has said to similar users we have tried to help: Pot, kettle?

And I know how you feel about paying for software. I have paid for enough snake oil over the years only to find out it was a hindrance rather than help to my system. I'd be embarrassed and ashamed to post how much money I have spent on such software before joining these forums and finding out what a fool I was.

I agree with this. Just few days ago, we had a user repeatedly overlooking the suggestions made by the members here, including MVP's like Greg.
You can imagine how the members feel when they volunteer their time, for free to help users, and the OP neglecting/not following their suggestions (which often includes the solution to their problems) and start comparing them to some telephone guy(s), calling the links posted as adverts..

Not to say that you are too like them, but isn't it natural for the members to get little tempered ?

Snippy? Explain.... I have done all that's been suggested to me! First I don't show off about what certifications I've got such as MVPs! You don't know what I've got under my belt...I don't feel the need brag about what I've got...... I just put this thread up for some EXPERT opinions on my problem... I don't have Microsoft certs it's not something I went after myself... I do other IT related things.... But your all the experts so I thought I would ask you... Oh and I'm no fool fella... that's a brave statement from behind a keyboard!!!! I haven't resorted to name calling, you've just done that. Second why would I be ashamed on what I've paid for software? Explain ? We've all paid out for Windows 7, yet the software we all paid for is very buggy and has a lot of problems...hence the need for a group such as this.... Didn't think you would all get so frustrated like the techies on the end of a phone! But hey.....I'm not the one with 7 assassin and 7 guru on my profile... Peace....no shame in admitting defeat
