I accidentally checked the "Hidden" box for userid under "network/user trying to see the hidden folders, I accidentally checked the hidden box. Now Windows 7 has hidden my userid folders. How can I get it back. I tried restoring it from the copy of this morning but it won't. Help from a person that should have known better. | My System Specs |

Are you saying that you right clicked and toggled the hidden box from the properties window?
Or was this something you did in folder properties.
I'm a little fuzzy on exactly what you've done here.
A screenshot would be helpful, you can attach them here easily using the paperclip icon. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Insane hobo technologies. ;-) OS Windows 7 x64 CPU Intel i7 2600k Motherboard Asrock z68 extreme 4 gen 3 Memory G.skill Ripjaw 16gigs @ 1866 Graphics Card Nvidia gtx580 (evga) Sound Card Integrated HD audio + hdmi Monitor(s) Displays 24" ASUS widescreen + 42" insignia Screen Resolution 1080p (1920x1080) Keyboard Microsoft wireless 3000 (v2) Mouse MS - wireless 5000 (bluetrack) PSU 1 kilowatt SLI/Crossfire rated Silverstone modular Case NZXT Phantom + additional 220 fan Cooling Zalmann Hard Drives 128 Samsung 830

Open any Explorer folder and Click on ... Organize(top left)>Folder and Search Options>View(tab)>Hidden files and folders(about 6 down) and check the box for "Show hidden files,Folders, and Drives..... Then go back to the folder you hid, select it and un-hide it the same way you hid it. (Right click it>Properties> un-check "Hidden" box) | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Jeepmann/Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit + xp,Vista, ubuntu in V-Box's CPU Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.4GHz (@4.5Ghz@1.230v) Motherboard Asus Maximus IV Extreme LGA 1155 Intel P67 Memory G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB 1600Mhz (4 x 4GB) (Stock) Graphics Card x2 EVGA SuperClocked GeForce GTX 570 (Stock) in SLI Surround Sound Card On-Board Monitor(s) Displays 3x Acer 24" HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor Screen Resolution 3@ 1920x1080 (5760x1080 In Surround) Keyboard Logitech G510 Mouse Zalman M300 PSU COOLER MASTER Silent Pro 1000W Case COOLER MASTER HAF X Black Cooling CORSAIR Hydro H70 Hard Drives Samsung 830 128gb ssd

Tried that. It doesn't seem to affect the folders under the network. They seem to have a different look if that makes any sense.
Edit... I spoke too soon!!! Found it! If I seem happy that's because I am.
