Can't go online via software Hi,Running Windows 7 64bit,and the problem is i can go online via FF or IE9 but if i try to go online via for example right clicking on a dropbox folder and choosing share folder nothing will happen.
Or if i try to go online via software for example anydvd if i click slysoft when i right click icon nothing happens.
I remember this phenomenon happening before a long time ago and i was given a fix for it,but for the life of me i can't remember what it was.
Would be eternally grateful for a solution to this problem. | My System Specs |

Would be eternally grateful for a solution to this problem. Download and install Malewarebytes in Safe Mode: Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - Download.com
Once installed and updated, run a FULL scan, not a quick scan. If Malwarebytes finds anything, remove all of the viruses that it finds. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number HP Pavilion P7-1010 OS Windows 7 Professional x64 Service Pack 1 CPU AMD Athlon X4 645 Motherboard Foxxcon N-Alvorix RS880 Memory 6GB DDR3 1066 Graphics Card Sapphire Radeon HD 5670 512MB Sound Card Realtek Integrated Audio Monitor(s) Displays HP 2011x Screen Resolution 1600x900 Keyboard HP OEM- Made by Chicony Mouse HP OEM- Made by Logitech PSU Seasonic S12 II Bronze 380 Watt Case HP OEM Cooling Coolermaster Heatsink, AVC Case Fan Hard Drives 1. Like i said in my first post this problem happened to me once before a long time ago and a mod give a fix for it. I think it was along the lines of my computer and properties but not sure.

Just had a brain storm and remembered what the fix was it sort of goes like this,start/default programs set program access and computer defaults/microsoft windows/non microsoft windows/custom/ and set ie as default and bingo it's fixed.
I should imagine there's a lot easier way of doing it than the way i did it.
Thanks for everyones input. | My System Specs | | Computer type Laptop System Manufacturer/Model Number Samsung NP300E5A-A02DX OS Windows 7 home premium 64bit sp1 CPU Intel Core i5 Motherboard Manufacturer SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD Memory 8gb Graphics Card Intel HD Graphics Family HD 3000 Sound Card Realtek High Definition Audio Monitor(s) Displays Generic PnP Monitor on Intel HD Graphics Family Screen Resolution 1920x1080 pixels Keyboard Logitech K400 wireless Mouse Logitech M570 trackball wireless Hard Drives SAMSUNG HM641JI Internet Speed 75MB DL 16MB UL (Cooking with Gas) Antivirus Avast IS and MBAM Pro Browser Firefox |
