I know many of you have heard or used it...is it different from ccleaner (I am using it currently) or other similar software...which one would you prefer?

Don't use any of those "system optimizers." That includes registry cleaners. If your Windows 7 is slow, then we will help you with that.

Either use the inbuilt tool ... Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tool > Disk Cleanup, or use CCleaner . Dont use anything else to clean the system, anyhow.

About registries, other than being 100% sure that what you are doing, better you dont touch it. Windows 7 registry hive is competent enough, and does not teed a frequent cleaning at all . If it is an urgent case, use CCleaners registry tab to clean it .
