Have you done the clean startup?
Have you done the clean startup?
Sorry forgot about that that part will do as soon as possible
Ok did that but this time the computer stays on! Only problem is the screen donesnt come back
That indicates a software issue to me... Make sure Windows is not corrupted.
- Check Windows for corruption. Run SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker up to three times to fix all errors with a restart in between each. Post back if it continues to show errors after a fourth run or if the first run comes back with no integrity violations. Use OPTION THREE of SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker to provide us with the sfcdetails.txt file if errors occur.
Last time i did this SFC scan it came up with errors...I'm doing it now, hopefully no errors
Ok i got the report file from the sfc will post
Based on the results of SFC, I would recommend a Repair Install of Windows 7. Use steps 1-3 of Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7 to get install media and backup your system prior to the repair install.
Is there any other way there is to fix this I have files on my computer which are very important but cannot be dragged any where else
