    How to set color profile with command prompt?


    Hello, having a good day? Hope so.

    Btw, this is my prefered color profile:


    But everytime I finished playing games such as Crysis 2 or Just Cause 2 or Adobe the screen will be in over brightness so that I have to go to Control Panel > Color Management and click Set as Default Profile to get it back to normal.

    My question is what command I can set a color profile in a command prompt, so that I can put it into the end of a batch file?

    I cant put it into cmd, command not recognized.
    do you know a way to do as shown by the link you provided with a command promt?

    Perhaps I'm reading this wrong, but the dispwin program seems to be command line based.

    You need to download and install the executable from the website above, and then use the commands.

    I'm back, I don't seem to understand all that text I got dizzy and felt kind of lost. But I noticed these two paragraphs, and particularly the last line:

    "On Microsoft Windows 7 you can set the display profile by opening the Color Management control by clicking the Start button and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type color management, and then click Color Management. Make sure the correct display device is selected in "Device:", and then tick the "Use my settings for this device" box. Select "Add..." and then "Browse..." to locate and load the profile. (Alternately you can use the normal file browser to locate the profile, and then right click on it and select "Install Profile". In the Color Manager "Add..." dialog you can then select it.). Make sure that the new profile has been marked "(default)" if you want it to be automatically used for your display.

    By default Windows 7 seems to automatically load the default display profiles calibration on startup, but needs to be told to do this at all other times by changing the system defaults, or if some 3rd party tool to load display calibration has been installed. This can be done by logging on with a user account that has administrative privileges, then opening the Color Management (see above), and then select the "Advanced" tab, and then "Change system defaults...", then select the "Advanced" tab, and select/un-select the "Use Windows display calibration" check box. (You could use dispwin -I as an alternative to this if you really wanted.)"

    Where can I get this dispwin?
    The dispwin link close to xcalib link is broken, I've downloaded xcalib though I don't have any idea what t do with it.
    Would you shed a light into this, please?

    It's all over my head, but the download (includes dispwin.exe) is here:

    Argyll Color Management System Home Page

    Choose Download V1.4.0 Main Windows 32 executables

    Dispwin.exe is in the Bin folder. No clue if that's all you need, I think you have some reading to do

    This appears to be a GUI for the whole shebang
