Hello Aamer and welcome to Seven Forums.

Your specs indicate you're running 64 bit Windows 7. You may have one temp folder for x64 files and another folder for x86 (32 bit) files. As far as deleting the folder(s) you may have to take ownership.

Take Ownership - Allow or Prevent Users and Groups To

Delete temp folder permission - Microsoft Answers

You could also take a look at TFC (Temp File Cleaner by OldTimer.)

And if a folder is locked because it's in use you could try FileAssassin by Malwarebytes.

"Two temps" can show on a 32 bit system as well. I'm not sure why. It does not seem to be related to the Recent Items list; but it does seem to be related to exploring some part of the temp folder and then searching for that %temp% variable again.

That said, be careful when forcing the deletion of a temp file that is in use. Temp folders are there for a reason and programs may need to place files into the temp folder. If you want to know what program has the file locked, try installing Unlocker. [64bit version] But be warned, that the installer for Unlocker installs other junk - unless you opt out of those extras.

Hi Marsmimar

Q1 is easily understood that they are two temp folder x64 & x86 ( Problem Solved)

Q2 Deleting (kls905A.tmp) File as this file is a malware when i run GetSysteminfo (Kaspersky tool) it generates the computer report and shows the number of infected files and its location.
The file (kls905A.tmp) was in the one of the programme installed GetSysteminfo (Kaspersky tool) showed me the location of the file when i uninstalled the programme and deleted the whole in my computer thus the file (kls905A.tmp) did not appeared in my computer again and found that the problem was solved.

I have only one temp folder.
I have a 32bit OS
I get two links.

At first, I get one search return for %temp%
Subsequent searches yield two identical returns.

And when I tested on a Windows 7 64bit OS, I did not see two returns/links from that Start search.

Oh well...

Marsmimar has a 64bit OS, I made the video using a 32bit OS.

I don't have anything that needs deleting. I just jumped in this thread to show that two temps can appear on a 32bit OS - which means that it is not the result of having two folders.

Can you please post a screen shot of the two temp folders that you have?

thx
