Increase in Temperatures - New Monitor

I've got a huge increase of heat coming from my PC since I switched to a newer Monitor. Even my HDD has increased since using the Monitor. I've installed the drivers from BenQ but it hasn't made any difference. Even on idle they seem too high. Is this normal for the Size and Resolution?

The CPU has increased the most, I was expecting my Graphics Card to take a hit.

It most certainly can be. Compared to the old 1024x768 monitor that is a piece of cake. But now you are in the HD realm pushing 1920x1080 images at 60 frames a second. That can make any computer work harder.
