    Startup.txt

    Scheduled Tasks.txt

    install.txt

I decided if you could spend your time answering and helping... I could make the time now to make the files! hehehe
If this doesn't work right, let me know and I'll try again :)

I updated my system specs in my profile too in case that helps... it sure seems like this system ought to scream through anything I'm playing: Skyrim, Modern Warfare 2, Dungeon Siege III.
I can't even get Batman: Arkham Asylum to run and it came with the video cards, Fallout 3 won't run... it's been frustrating after spending big bucks

    For your installed files:
    1. 100% uninstall Kaspersky and install MSE (link in my signature)
    REBOOT!

    Uninstall PC Optimizer from CyberDefender
    REBOOT!

If that alone, doesn't solve your problem, then:
Download and run Securia's Personal Security Inspector. This will help you to update some other programs.

Free Security Software Download - (PSI) - Secunia

    ===========================================================

    After that:
Go back to the Task Scheduler tab and DISABLE ALL!
    REBOOT!

WIN | type MSCONFIG | ENTER | STARTUP tab
    uncheck ALL
    REBOOT!

    Thanks!

Thanks Karlsnook, that did the trick. I only had to go as far as replacing Kaspersky with the MSE. I also deleted the CCleaner program and things seem to be running waaaayyy smoother now. I've still got to work on those games that aren't running right but that's a task for another day... I wanna enjoy the ones that work right for a while :)

    I appreciate the help :)

Given how useful the two you've recommended have been, would you share what the others in your signature are for?
