    Work through these Troubleshooting Steps for Windows 7 starting with establishing a Clean Boot to see if another program is interfering.

    If this is preinstalled Win7 you should also Clean Up Factory Bloatware or do what most tech enthusiasts do with a bloated computer and Clean Reinstall - Factory OEM Windows 7

    Why pick out one step in over a dozen given to troubleshoot Win7?

    Explorer crashes can be caused by a number of things so you have to work through each step to find the solution.

    Since when does troubleshooting ruin your OS? If something is risky we would not advise it.

    Try System Restore if you create any restore point. or Just Reinstall VEW Event Viewer may fix this.

    i did so . bought new HDD and all fine.
    restoring now my files and all ok ..

    problem also was my windows i downloaded was bad win 7 professional .
