Can you raid1 an i-ram drive and an ssd??

How about an I-ram drive and a spindle drive??

In a mirrored array, does the fastest drive run as slow as the slowest drive?

My thinking is that an I-Ram drive for o/s and programs would be extremely fast, but pretty annoying in the event of a bsod or power outage .... so if there's a way to mirror it to something more reliable like an ssd or spindle drive, that'd be great

I wouldn't bother with an I-Ram drive, as it is volatile. Instead, use an SSD.

For best results with RAID arrays, all drives in an array should be of the same specifications.

That is why I want to mirror the i ram drive- they're volitile

Of course, if it's mirrored and crashes, there goes my other drive too I guess
