Hi Cuberti, I deleted it in IE9, but it still appears as an Error in the Event Viewer. I agree with you, that it probably was only used for authentication to a site. Do you think, I can delete it in the Registry as well?? Thanks for your help. Sewcat7

My computer was unable to upgrade to windows 7. I am using a compaq presario notebook PC. The boot device ( CD ) does not work, the system recovery does not work and there is no "repair my computer" on the F8 option. I tried safe mode and it does the same thing as start windows normally....
