    Err...you have it all wrong. Disabling cores is not going to make your processor any faster. Say you have a 2GHz processor with 2 cores, it is like having 2 processors running at 2GHz each. Disabling one will not magically make the other run faster. You'll find it will only make your computer slower.

Since I couldn't get specs on the AMD Turion in terms of cache, etc. (the Intel one in the title is 2M Cache, 2.20 GHz, 800 MHz FSB) I couldn't figure out which is the better processor. Does anyone know? Is there also a website I can reference that can compare them?
