Type taskkill /? in a command prompt. You can use some form of that in a batch file to kill your apps. Not sure if you'll be able to get your stop.bat as versatile or 'elegant' as your start.bat, but at least it'll be able to get it done with a single command.

How to start multiple programs with ONE mouseclick
as we all know, you can drag a shortcut / program / file to the startup-folder, then it automatically starts when you boot.
but, what can you do if you want a similar function for other programs / files,
and you want to start them...
I'm having two problems and I suspect they are related. There are come programs that simply execute a long time after the icon is clicked. By delayed, I mean I click the .exe icon for the program and nothing happens...Then 5-10 minutes later, the program I forgot about runs. What's going on...
My start menu will not let me right-click any link such as "Computer" and it will not let me remove any program from the start list. Again, because it wont let me right-click it.
I have recurring "not responding" programs in Win 7. The affected programs are MS Office, Cad programs, Photoshop, etc. I tested my ram and all is good. Processor and temps are all excellent. Hard drive has no bad sectors. All drivers have been updated. Problem usually (but not always) goes away...
