If your PC supports it, enable Physical Address Extension (PAE) in BIOS.

Hi and welcome to sevenforums

Usually mobo's will only use about 3.3 gigs of 4, unless as antman said your mobo supports pae. My dell supports 3.4 of 4 but even pushing it to the max I haven't been able to use all of it.Ken

How would i do that?
Pae is a check box in bios. You would boot into bios (F-2?) and scroll thru till you find pae. It might say max memory,

Your respit has served you well.
