I can't save changes to power plans....

    Hello computer experts!
I can go in to power options, change an existing plan or make a new plan, but when I change an individual setting, such as "turn screen of in X minutes", it won't save the change after I turn the computer off & on.
I used to be able to do this....

    TIA! Murf

    Thanks for the reply DellAbhishekV,

I can make the changes to the "turn off display" & "Put computer to sleep", then I hit "save changes" and they will work fine even after going to sleep & waking, but if I turn the computer all the way off, the changes don't stay but go back towhat they were originally.
So I don't see the answer in the links you gave.

    Hi littlebear,

Thank you for replying. I appreciate your patience and cooperation.

As you have told that you can make the changes to the "turn off display" & "Put computer to sleep", however, once the system is turned off, the settings are lost, therefore, I would like to update that the issue could be sue to profile settings.
I would request you to kindly try creating another user profile and then try setting the power plan under this new user profile.

    Glad to Help.

    Thanks & Regards,
