Click on the Start button, type cmd, click on cmd.exe. A command prompt window appears. Type chkdsk and then press enter. Post that resulting screenshot (using the Snipping Tool on your PC and upload via the paperclip icon that you see here when you create/edit a forum post).

How many drives to you have on the computer, and what are the drive letters associated each?
Have you tried chkdsk as advised by F5ing ??

Chkdsk results are good. Do you have other drives?

Out of curiosity, what program did you use to DeFrag your hard drive that took 11 passes?

I'm not sure how much luck you'll have as defragging tends to really scramble unused space (which is where your lost files are), but you can try this:

TestDisk Download - CGSecurity

The download contains two programs, Testdisk and Photorec. You'll want to use Photorec. Despite its name it recovers a lot more than photos. It's not a really user friendly program as it doesn't have a typical GUI, so be careful with it. The link below provides some help in using it.
