    Changing Paging File Size


    What will happen if I change it?

    In your case, changing the page file size will only decrease your performance.

    Win 7 is not XP and Win 7 chooses, automatically, the best size for your system, except, for those cases where one has 8 GB or more and even then you can easily leave the setting alone.

    This was researched very thoroughly by Microsoft, and contrary to the "wisdom" of some bloggers and some forums, Microsoft does know what they are doing.

    We are not allowed to talk about it, and there is no fight club...

    Happens in some rare cases, some applications fail to launch, thats it.
