Windows Memory Diagnostics stuck in loop and cant stop it!

Hi there ppl, I was told to start a Windows Memory Diagnostics Scan on my computer and to schedule it for the next time my PC restarts so I did, problem is it now wont stop it just keep's running, I have tried some of the solutions I have seen on here like turning of the computer and removing the ram sticks and swapping them around turning it back on but it still goes back into the WMD scan, so I cant even log into windows. I have tried booting up with the windows disk and restoring it to a earlier time hoping that might override the command made but that also failed, please help as I'm stumped as to what to do and dont want to have to reinstall everything or take it to some comp shop to be charged a mass amount of money for something that is probably very easy to fix.
My comp specs are Win 7 Home Premium 32 bit, Intel core 2 Quad, 4gb ram.

Good explanation here: Artur's tech support blog: Windows memory diagnostic stuck in the loop

Try booting your Install DVD, take the Repair path then Command Prompt. See if

    bcdedit /bootsequence {memdiag} /remove

as described in the above article will work from there.

Cheers Ztruker for that, worked perfect I can now log back into Windows. Just hope I can resolve the problem that asked me to run that silly WMD tool.
