moving swap/hibernate file to improve performance

    moving swap/hibernate file to improve performance


    can i move the swap and hibernate files to another physical drive?

    well ok i know the swap will, but i am having problems trying to move the hibernate one.

    As far as I know the hibernate file has to be on the same hard drive and partition as the OS itself...the page file (like you found out) can go anywhere

    Moving the hibernate file is not going to improve performance. Unlike the page file it is not used until you go into hibernation.
