Performance Monitor perfmon save settings / session

First of all - hi! I'm new to the forum.

In windows XP perfmon asked every time I wanted to close it if it should save the settings / session. In Windows 7 it says nothing and I see no way to save all the counters I've set up. There is an option to Save Settings but I see no option to load them back. Basically I want Performance Monitor to startup as I left him the last time. Any hints?

Anyone? I've read the help and the article on MS technet plus few video tutorials and noone even mention the solution.

    Start - Run - MMC
File - add snapin - perfmon
Then customize it the way you like, and then save it as before.

You can also add other snapins and save it - but UAC will pop up if you choose to run in author mode with full permissions which might be a good idea depending on who uses the computer or not.

Thank you all a lot! It works! I mainly use it to tweak my memory/ramdisk/pagefile on ramdisk sizes.

Aaah, I knew it can't be that pretty :/

    I need the following counters:
pagefile actual usage (not some commited size bs)
physical memory usage (or physical memory available)
    CPU core 1 usage
    CPU core 2 usage

Unfortunately I was able to turn on only the firs counter for my pagefile and the memory available (using 0,01 scale). I can't get the processor usage. Can anyone help me?

    Edit:
It seems that it's not that easy.

If anyone knows of the counter that is most suitable to measure CPU usage in perfmon, please post your idea here.
