    Hi Levishere

    Code:
    05 100 100 _24 07C000100010 Reallocated Sectors Count
    C4 100 100 __0 000019D20010 Reallocation Event Count
    C5 _94 _91 __0 000000000007 Current Pending Sector Count
The above values are non-zero and critical to your harddrives health..... You have bad sectors..

Do a surface scan using Chkdsk to scan for errors..

Also please download GsmartControl and do a Short Self test... and see what errors it spits our...

I not sure i follow you....

The SMART value above is for the current drive you are on..... installing Windows 7 or vista is not the issue... you can still do that.... but those values there are signs of an impending failure to your drive.....

Please do the test and let me know what you find ....

I have 2 Hard Drives. When my newest hard drive (Seagate) started to go really slow, I switched to the old hard drive (FUJITSU). The old hard drive did have errors, but when I switched to Windows 7 from Vista, it was usable. That is not my primary HD and I only used it because it was almost impossible to use the Seagate one. The Seagate one is fine according to the SATA test from their website. However, I'm having problems on both HD as far as the youtube glitch, freezing, and the occasional lag.

When I do the Crystal test, it says the health status is good. I posted the results right before your latest post.

I am no longer on the Fujitsu. I know that HD has issues, but the general issue that I am experiencing at the moment has absolutely nothing to do with it. I'm sorry about that.

*I swapped the results of the crystaldisk info on the Fujitsu with the results of the Seagate hd on the second page.

    Hmm

Whats the model no.. of your HP ??

    Persistence REG_SZ C:\Windows\system32\igfxpers.exe
    LWS REG_SZ C:\Program Files\Logitech\LWS\Webcam Software\LWS.exe -hide
    ISUSScheduler REG_SZ "C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\issch.exe" -start
    ISUSPM Startup REG_SZ C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\INSTAL~1\UPDATE~1\ISUSPM.exe -startup
    IgfxTray REG_SZ C:\Windows\system32\igfxtray.exe
    TkBellExe REG_SZ "C:\Program Files\real\realplayer\update\realsched.exe" -osboot
    AVG_TRAY REG_SZ "C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG2012\avgtray.exe"
First remove the above for startup....

Second uninstall AVG and use MSE.

Third.... Disable backup and VSS service for the time being .... theres an error caused by it for not finding the some file.......

Do these and let me know... if it still lags.....

And lastly ..... the systems log are not complete ,... please go into event viewer and save the system log as an .evtx file format as shown below and upload here

Notebooks runs slow and freezes when I watch youtube.-event.png

Also the msinfo32 is also corrupt.... try uploading the same again using the SF tool.

    Model # dv6500 or dv6628us

When I try to upload the msinfo32, it says invalid file.

When I try to upload the .evtx file, I get "Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error."
