A 32-bit Windows 7 runs just fine on that machine. It will not be fast, and it most certainly will be the worst gaming PC you have tried, but it runs.

    My suggestions:

    - OR -

    • Uninstall all three antivirus programs you have now installed (Avast, AVG & McAfee). With McAfee do as WHS told you above, use MCPR.EXE to remove it. Other two you can just uninstall from Control Panel > Programs and Features
    • Download and install MSE
    • Using Msconfig.exe > Startup, remove all except Microsoft apps / programs / services from startup list

Well i am not sure how you would play crossfire.. as the min requirement for graphics is Geforce 5600 or equivalent class...

If you want .... you can also run the emulators in Linux as well like PCSX2, ZSNES, Gens, MAME or ePSXe...

Until you run the Clean Reinstall I would immediately Clean Up Factory Bloatware.

Just replacing Muckafee and Avast with MSE and establishing a Clean Boot should make a big difference.

the cpu I guess is a weak spec tho as task manager itself using quite high cpu.

and of course 3 a/v is a bad idea.
