Desktop Artefact

Hi I have recently noticed an artefact on my desktop, at least that is what I think it is called. When I refrseh my desktop it disappears, I think its a leftover from a fly-out menu.
Is this normal, is there a cure?

It's left behind as an object because there's a handle to it, usually, and that almost always tracks back to the video driver. Assuming your system specs are accurate, you're got an ATI radeon - have you installed the very latest supported drivers for Windows 7? It's at least the first place to start.

Well.... remember the same company that was responsible for the rubbish ones also wrote the ones you're using . In all seriousness, giving the 12.8 bundle a try isn't a bad idea.
