Windows 7: High RAM Usage after reinstalling windows

High RAM Usage after reinstalling windows

Before I reinstalled Windows 7 My RAM usage was about 40-60 with about 100 processes active
Now...

65 processes And im using 70-80% of RAM



Anyone have any performance tweaks that will help

I think windows just needed time to settle down
67 process 66% ram usage

I have a 430mb ram used program
(minecraft server)

index process will be running as well takes a while after a reinstall for windows to really settle down.

Lol seriously, you have 2Gb installed, windows uses 75% of your ram and you go and open a thread about it? Let windows use the ram, actually, drop in a couple of more gb and enjoy a better responding OS.

i have the same problem but i bought a new Dell laptop with core i7 6MB cache
16 GB RAM
now when the windows is ideal it consumes 3.5 GB from RAM
so what is the problem
