Equal Brightness-level with and without Cord in Laptops

    Hi,

I've a question about Brightness in laptops
When I use Cord to Power my Laptop I usually get higher contrast, brighter back lightning then just using battery.

Can I fix so I get as much brightness with Battery usage as with a Cord ?

    Best wishes,
    Torbjörn

    Hi

You can adjust the brightness of your laptop, go to "Control panel" then search of "Power Option" , there you can find the sliders to adjust the brightness of your laptop with and without cords.

Sure I can do that, Adjust Brightness with Sliders in Power Option, but.. well, I wasn't probably clear enough what i want to achieve.

I want to have same brightness level without cord as with a power cord ...

Plug-in power cord och start laptop. After it started, take out power cord, and watch how the light on your display decrease.. even if Power Option, screen brightness is highest value on both .

So, I want to tweak brightness using battery to make it as clear as when using a power cord. Sorry if i wasn't clear from start with my issue.

    Hi

That it very simple, you may have some Function keys (Fn) in your laptop's keyboard, you can directly adjust the brightness according to your convenience, just unplug it from charging and adjust your brightness level using function keys. check this link for more help

    Thank you Pankaj

But the issue are on higher degree.. it's about tweaking the brightness level to be same value with- and without cord .
Even if you change all integrated functions and options in Windows, your screen still fades using battery, and reason I want this is reading ability for myself decrease highly without the same back-light intensity as with a power cord.

    brightness

You can change it in your BIOS settings there should be a "display" option, it should be set to normal by default, change it to maximum. Save the settings then restart the machine.
