Erunt and save to compressed folder location - good or bad?

    Referring Erunt (ERUNT)

Does anyone have an opinion on ERUNT saving to a compressed (not encrypted) window folder. Does anyone think this is a bad idea?
(Think of case where I need to get to the ERUNT data in a PC with broken OS from live boot type CD that can read a NTFS file system that it is not damaged)

Sounds lie a bad idea to me.

Can you even access the compressed folder from the Recovery Console in Windows 7? Best to check that out first.

Question. Why are you compressing folders? Hard drives are really cheap now days.

    Erunt

Just my opinon. In a "crash" situation a compressed file would just be one more hurdle to deal with.
