How to SKIP completely boot manager

    Hello,

First of all excuse me if this does not belong in here.
I keep getting to show the boot manager even though I have deleted any other option, timed to 0 and skipped it with EasyBCD... It still shows for let's say 1sec and disappears. It's not SO bad but just wondering why it's still doing that if I remember there was a time when it used to go straight to showing Windows 7 loading logo.

    Thanks in advance,

    Try this.

Put your Windows 7 Install media and boot to it.
    Click on Repair.
    Open the command prompt.
    Run bootrec /Rebuildbcd

Thanks, I'll do it in a bit! (My optical drive is broken so I need to create a USB with Windows 7 files). Is there any difference between this and the option Re-create/Repair boot files of EasyBCD?

I used EasyBCD and set it to Skip boot menu and it does boot directly to Windows 7.

Do you have any other devices plugged in? I wonder if somehow one of them is causing this blip.

Yes I have two hard drives in enclosures connected by USB. But they have no operation system in them, one is my D: (data) and the other its backup.. Do you think they could be causing this? I'll try disconnecting them and rebooting..

Well I've just tried both options but still the same. It's like there is just timeout 0 as an option but not skipping. So it shows the bootmgr and picks Windows 7 and starts. Any other ideas?

    Thanks!

Yes, exactly like that. Here are other screenshots from EasyBCD, perhaps there is something wrong..

    Thank you!

In an elevated cmd prompt, type:

    bcdedit /set {bootmgr} displaybootmenu no

    Then press enter

I just did it, restarted but still the same!

Now looking at EasyBCD I found this option under tools that says "Edit legacy entries" and it opens a boot.ini file (I thought it was gone in Windows 7)... it seems like maybe there is the problem but I don't really know. Does it look fine?

    Thanks
