Overactive HDD - Constant 1-2mb/s read and writes

For some reason my main HDD's got lots of activity and it takes a couple of hours to settle down.

Resource monitor's showing a constant 1-2mb/s read/write by 'system'.

Sometimes, it takes quite a while for it to get into the login screen when booting up as well.

Malwarebyte & chkdsk scans are negative, everything seems fine O.o

Hijackthis shows a lot of (files missing) entries towards the end. I wonder if it's linked, should I post it here?
