    High memory load (~80% idle)

I just installed my new HTPC.

    This is the spec:
    =============
AMD A6 with dedicated AGU (ATI Radeon 6530 hd)
    4 GB memory
    Crucial 64 GB SSD
    Win7 Professional 64 bit

I dedicated 512 MB for the AGU.

I noticed that the memory load on idle can reach up to 80%.
I checked the memory resource and even if sum up all processes physical memory I don't come near to amount windows is showing me.

    I have ~30 processes running.

I'm out of ideas whats eating my memory.

    Any ideas?

Have you opened msconfig and disabled any third-party software?

Start > Search Programs and Files > Type (without quotes) "msconfig" > Startup tab:

Disable any third-party software (typically bloatware) and keep your AV and any drivers which you may need.

    Hope this helps,

I found the primary suspect - XBMC.

I booted without it and memory usage was ~45%
I rebooted with it enabled and memory usage was ~75%.

now how do i solve this...

What is XBMC? Were you able to boot properly without it enabled?
