Core temp high readings.

    Core temp high readings.


    So I left my pc on last night and I woke up with an alert from coretemp so I took a peak at it and saw this


    As you can see it has a hight of over 140degrees is this something that should concern me or just a one off thing due to software etc?

    i checked the specs of your CPU and that is way way over the max temp..
    Maximum operating temperature 71°C , get a can of air and blow all the dust out from the fans and heatsink.....

    Yes, clean the dust out of the CPU cooler and fan blades. If it's not clogged up, you have other issues. The CPU in the snip was under a fairly heavy load, what was running overnight?

    When I took a screen shot I was running tf2 I had left it on all night
